Join Sue and Dana for 3 fun-filled days of nose work!

Details:
Day 1:
We will gather as a group to set the tone for the weekend. Quickly demo teams will break off to run their first mega-search (all being videotaped for later analysis) while our auditors stay together for lecture and discussion on the various challenges being presented to the teams. Discussion will include auditor video analysis and detailed dives into recognizing all the unnoticed suggestions we make while searching.
After lunch we will all join again to discuss the morning searches, including demo dog video review by both Sue and Dana, as well as the handlers themselves. We may also set up a search to give demo teams a chance to practice/implement the day’s lessons.
Day 2:
This day brings us all together for a deep dive into handler suggestions, both intentional and inadvertent. In addition, we will look intently at observing and counting corners and how sometimes it’s the handler that misses the corner, not the dog. Sue will bring her usual fantastic video examples to clarify all the above while Dana sets up a few fun demo sessions for practical learning.
Day 3:
In the morning, we will meet at Dana’s training spot for another mega-search; but this time all the auditors will observe live. We will again video teams for later video review in addition to in the moment discussions of the teamwork we observe.
After lunch we will reconvene at our original location and wrap up the weekend with discussions and video.
All in all, this will be a fun and educational three days. You will leave exhausted and inspired (and hopefully a better understanding of membranes!). We can’t wait to see you!

Registration:
You have two options in regard to attendance: audit or demo dog. There are 20 demo spots available. CURRENTLY ALL DEMO SPOTS ARE FILLED BUT YOU CAN ADD YOUR NAME TO THE WAITLIST ON THE REGISTRATION FORM.
Auditors will also be invited to submit a training and a trial video for us to review live.
