Entry Fee: $75 per dog and handler team, payable to Zinn Dog Training LLC (payable via Paypal or credit card through the Paypal site - no Paypal account required)

Only one dog per handler may run in the trial. If you submit registration for more than one dog, and one of those entries is selected in the random draw, only that dog may participate. If you submit multiple entries and more than one of the entries is selected in the random draw, you may decide which one dog will participate.

Trial registration will remain open until trials are filled to capacity. Entry will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

NW1 is closed to new entries.

Registration Method

All registration will be online. No phone or paper entries will be accepted. Completing the form and/or making your payment does not guarantee you an entry in the trial. You will receive an auto-response email stating that your entry was received after registration. This email does not confirm your space in the trial.

Entry Method

Trial spaces will be awarded by a random draw of all qualified entries received between 8am and 11:59pm (MDT) on April 11th, 2012. (For details about what constitutes a "qualified" entry, see NACSW eligibility.) In the event you are having technical difficulties with the entry system, please email . If the trial is not full by the end of the registration period, entries will be taken first-come, first-served of qualified entries until all available spaces have been filled.

A waiting list for alternates will be started once all entries have been filled. Alternates will be contacted when a space opens up or just before the trial if we are requesting your attendance in case of no-shows.

Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, or excused by the NACSW™ official or judge.

This cancellation and refund policy applies to competitors that must withdraw for any reason including but not limited to injury, illness, emergency, and personal or work-related reasons.

No part of the fee will be refunded if the trial cannot take place or be completed by reason of fire, civil disturbances, an Act of God, public emergency, or any other cause beyond the control of the trial organizers.

The exact address will be disclosed a few weeks prior to the trial.

Spectators

Family members and friends are welcome to watch certain elements if there is appropriate viewing space for a gallery that will not interfere with the dog working or the judging. Limits may be put on the number of spectators depending on the turn out. Children under 18 must be directly supervised at all times. Spectators MUST check-in at registration, sign a waiver, and get a name badge. No dogs will be allowed in the spectator area. No unentered dogs are allowed at the trial. Spectators are reminded that the hide placements must not be discussed nor should they speak with any competitors about what they saw until after the trial is complete. Competitors are not allowed to watch the trial at anytime.

Trial Rules and Guidelines

Any updates will be provided during the handler's walk-through. Please note that all competitors must wear closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes for safety.

Video Taping and Photography

Video and photography of the competition or competition areas is not allowed at this time except by NACSW approved photographers/videographers.

All competitors, through entry at any NACSW™ event waive any and all rights relative to video broadcast or photography of such event. No portion of any event may be videotaped or photographed for commercial or other purpose. All photographic, video, broadcast and telecast rights for NACSW™ events are the exclusive property of NACSW™.
